A: CNG is a compressed form of Natural gas, which consists of predominantly 82 – 94% Methane, 3 – 6% Ethane, 0.1 – 2% Propane, while other compounds including Butane, Pentane, Hexane, Carbon dioxide and Nitrogen account for the residual fraction.

A: Distribution and dispensing of Natural Gas is generally achieved through the use of a vast infrastructure of underground pipelines that supply large regions of a given territory, but most areas in Nigeria remain excluded from this system, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. Consumers in these areas are supplied by over-the-road transport vehicles that contain highly compressed Natural Gas (CNG). These industrial and individual consumers are known as off-pipeline CNG end users.
A: We have several GSPA’s in place with franchise operators of Nigerian Gas Company distribution.
A: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is simply a cleaner, cheaper alternative energy solution to conventional liquid fuels (e.g. Diesel, Petrol, LPFO) that are used by Burners, Boilers, Furnaces, Electricity Generators (IPP), etc. So in virtually any application such fuels are utilized, it is almost always possible to substitute with CNG.
A: Natural Gas composition is Methane (C1H4) and remains in a gaseous form, while LPG is Propane (C3H8), Butane (C4H10) and is stored in liquid form
A: Yes. LXG is proactively involved with its customers, providing advice, consultation and frequent evaluations, thus aiding customers to optimize the overall use of their energy.
A: Use of natural gas has been documented for hundreds of years. With current technological advancement, the use of this great natural resource is significantly more reliable and safe. The involvement of many global organizations is helping this process by continuously improving the regulation and international standards. As long as the use of natural gas as an energy solution is within the basic standardized regulations, it is one of the safest fuel sources known to man, due to so many inherent safety precautions.

A: There is currently no fixed mechanism determining the price of CNG distributed in Nigeria. Prices are driven by free market economics, albeit with an extremely low degree of volatility.
A: There are several determinants to pricing, such as delivery distance, type, duration and volume of contracts taking into account the cost of variable inputs such as fuel, logistics,
operations and maintenance. However, a general rule of thumb dictates that there will ALWAYS remain a minimum of 30% variance on an equivocal unit of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO/Diesel), which can in most cases can be as high as 50-60%.
Current Indicative CNG delivery costs can be determined by contacting the Sales and distribution team.

A: PRUs supply a finite amount of gas to maintain delivery pressure. Kindly notify your Relationship Manager who can advise you specifically on whether the existing system will support the loads to be added. (We will need information on the type of equipment, the number and the respective capacity required)
A: Luxxorgas has pre-qualified a number of third party contractors who are accredited to ISO standards. Though not obligated, we would strongly suggest the use of a recommended 3rd party to ensure a safe, seamless and cost-effective installation.
A: Visit the partners page of this website, contact sales and distribution or existing customers can contact their Relationship Manager for referrals and further advice.
A: The customer’s appointed contractor is responsible for the design, procurement and installation of the ‘downstream’ gas piping (or appliance) side of the meter. The downstream gas piping is then inspected in accordance with local/international codes. After passing the inspection, LuxxorGas will install the gas meter and associated components. LuxxorGas owns all processes relating to upstream gas piping of the meter.
A: We have standard delivery pressure for commercial customers ranging between 0.1 and 2.5 bar, though we are able to achieve anywhere up to 250 Bar in the unlikely event that such extraordinary pressures are required.
